Our Generation 2 Expedition Kitchens are out! Make food on and off trail with this unique vehicle kitchen. Pull over and have immediate access to a well thought out kitchen made of the same materials found in commercial kitchens, vehicles, and spacecraft.

The cabinets are made of ASTM A1008 cold rolled carbon steel, the same material used in automotive body panels, and finished with a durable textured powder coat paint. The drawers and cook areas are made entirely out of #304 food-grade stainless steel, the same material used in commercial kitchens, and that SpaceX uses in the construction of their new fleet of Starships. The cabinets are assembled using over 350 stainless steel screws, washers, nuts, and rivets. It is field maintainable using a small complement of tools, and the metal frame is easily drilled to be used as a platform adding DIY accessories (e.g., a water pump can fit inside behind the fridge).

The 100% metal construction is thinner for the same strength than other materials. This means less space is used by the cabinet structure, and more space is available for your stuff. The two cabinets arrive individually packed for easy lifting into your vehicle, where you fasten them together with the screws and bolts supplied.

The LH model is designed to fit in the Jeep Wrangler JLU and other vehicles of this size class. The position of the stove and workspace cabinet is on the left-hand side to make room for the Jeep JLU’s door latch. For other vehicles, the cabinets can be oriented with the workspace cabinet on either left of right side.

The Expedition Kitchen is made in Canada.

Stove Drawer

Vehicle Fitment

Originally designed for the Jeep JLU, it fits in a wide variety SUVs that have a more limited cargo area. The back is sloped to fit behind the rear seats. It also sits on top of true fold flat rear seats.
